Description

The year 2026 is a special one for the Moritz Grossmann manufactory in Glashütte, as its founder and namesake was born on 27 March 1826 – exactly 200 years ago.

The HAMATIC Enamel showcases the interplay between dial face design and mechanics. The jet-black enamel dial features Arabic numerals in the form of solid rose gold or white gold appliqués, which provide striking accents. These elements lend the anniversary edition a unique character: until now, the HAMATIC was exclusively available with Roman numerals. Inside, the manufactory calibre 106.0 with its distinctive hammer-winding mechanism is at work.

The historical reference is emphasised by the ‘M. GROSSMANN’ lettering in the 1875 style on the dial, as well as the ‘1826’ engraving on the balance cock commemorating the year of birth of the brand’s namesake. The anniversary edition is available with a rose gold or white gold case and is limited to eight watches in each version.
